Provided are a superconducting magnet device that suppresses the impact of a leakage magnetic field, a magnetic resonance imaging device, an MRI-guided radiotherapy device, and an operating room. A superconducting magnet device (5) is capable of switching between a first operation in which the device operates so as to generate a main magnetic field and a second operation in which the device operates so as to extinguish the main magnetic field or suppress a leakage magnetic field of the main magnetic field. The superconducting magnet device (5) comprises: a superconducting coil (8); an excitation power supply (11) that excites the superconducting coil (8); a magnetic substance detection unit (12) that detects whether a magnetic substance is located in a region over which the leakage magnetic field of the main magnetic field generated in the first operation extends; and an interlock unit (13) that halts excitation of the superconducting coil (8) by the excitation power supply (11) on the basis of a detection result of the magnetic substance detection unit (12). The interlock unit (13) cancels halting of excitation of the superconducting coil (8) by the excitation power supply (11) if the magnetic substance detection unit (12) determines that a magnetic substance is not located in the region over which the leakage magnetic field extends.
