An application method and system for a receipt notification in railway logistics. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring the state of a railway logistics express delivery (S101); extracting the name of a signer if the state is a signed state (S102); and if the name of the signer is consistent with that of a receiver, not sending a prompt message, and if the name of the signer is inconsistent with that of the receiver, sending a prompt message (S103). The method and system have the advantage of better user experience.
