A method for acquiring data when reminding about a natural gas leakage, and a reminder system. The method comprises: recording a pre-set threshold value for indoor natural gas concentration (S101); detecting an indoor natural gas concentration (S102); determining whether the indoor natural gas concentration is greater than the pre-set threshold value for indoor natural gas concentration (S103); if not, maintaining an original state (S104); and if so, pushing indoor natural gas concentration information to a user, reminding the user, and sending technology usage data to a data acquisition terminal pre-set by a manufacturer (S105). By means of detecting an indoor natural gas concentration, alarm information is actively sent so as to avoid the further worsening of a natural gas leakage, such that the life and property safety of a user are protected, and at the same time, it is also convenient for a manufacturer to acquire a usage situation of the relevant technology timely and effectively.
