The present invention relates to the field of Internet, and provides a data feedback method for title-based automatic download technology and download system. The method comprises: recording episodes to be automatically pre-downloaded of a TV series; detecting, when a user watches the TV series, a currently played episode of the TV series according to the title of the currently played TV series; and automatically downloading, when a playing device of the user is connected to WiFi, the episodes to be automatically pre-downloaded of the TV series according to the currently played episode of the TV series, and sending technology usage data to a data acquisition end preset by a manufacturer. By presetting episodes to be automatically pre-downloaded of a TV series, and automatically buffering the preset episodes of the TV series when a user watches the TV series, the present invention ensures the fluency when a user watches a video and saves the space of a playing device; in addition, the manufacturer can also conveniently and effectively acquire a use state of the related technology in time.
