The present invention belongs to the field of home appliances; provided are a data acquisition method and television set of a television instruction input technology, said method comprising: recording a television instruction that matches speech; when a user is watching television, monitoring user-inputted speech; if the speech inputted by the user is the speech matching said television instruction, then invoking a television instruction matching the speech and sending technical usage data to a data collection terminal preset by a manufacturer. In the present invention, a matching relationship is preset between speech and a television; a television instruction is invoked according to speech inputted by a user such that it is possible to control the television without using a remote controller; thus television operation is simplified and user experience is improved, and it is also made more convenient for a manufacturer to promptly and effectively collect relevant technical usage conditions.
