The invention relates to a method for producing a tube arrangement (10) for medical endoscopes (12), consisting of an outer tube (14) and of a sleeve tube (16) which is inserted into the outer tube and which, in its distal end region, is closed with an optically transparent viewing window (18), wherein a sleeve tube body (20) with a distal tube opening (22) is made available; the distal tube opening (22) is closed with the viewing window (18); the sleeve tube body (20) is divided into two separate tube parts (24, 26), specifically into a distal sleeve tube part (24), receiving the viewing window, and a proximal sleeve tube part (26); the sleeve tube parts (24, 26) are connected rigidly to each other again; the sleeve tube (16) is inserted into the outer tube (14) as far as an end position.
