Disclosed are a method and a system for observing an ultra-spectroscopic image by using a kaleidoscope. A method for observing an ultra-spectroscopic image according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: copying an input image into a predetermined number of images; generating coded aperture passing images corresponding to the copied images by using a coded aperture, respectively; for each of the coded aperture passing images, acquiring information on scattered images generated by scattering by a prism; and observing an ultra-spectroscopic image for the input image on the basis of the acquired information on the scattered images.
