The present invention relates to the field of communications, and provides a data acquisition method and system for an information pushing technology. The present invention can push, according to a current location that is not a usual location, information related to the current location, thereby improving user experience. The method comprises: an in-vehicle device obtains a current location; send a pushing request message carrying the current location to a server; the server collects statistics about a usual location of the in-vehicle device on the basis of a navigation service, wherein the usual location is an address where the number of times the in-vehicle device reaches is greater than a preset threshold value; if it is determined that the current location is not the usual location of the in-vehicle device, search a preset push information database according to the current location of the in-vehicle device for push information corresponding to the current location of the in-vehicle device; send the push information corresponding to the current location of the in-vehicle device to the in-vehicle device; the in-vehicle device receives and plays the push information sent by the server, and sends technology usage data to a data acquisition end preset by a manufacturer.
