A composite material for treating, conditioning, and remediating contaminated river or lake sediment. The composite material comprises the following components provided in the respective mass percentages as a part of the total mass of the composite material:52‑78.7% of a binding material with a nano-scale modification; 6‑12% of an aluminum-ferric polysilicate; 3‑7% of a zeolite powder; 2-8% of an activated calcium oxide; 3‑6% of an anhydrous gypsum; 2-6% of an activated carbon powder; 0.2-1% of a sodium silicate; 4-7% of a silicon micro powder; and 0.1-1.0% of a trithiocyanuric acid trisodium salt.The composite material for treating, conditioning, and remediating the contaminated river or lake sediment can significantly reduce heavy metal content, organic contaminant, and microbial content of a sludge, disperse and disrupt a flocculant or coagulant in the sludge, improve a structural performance and hydrological characteristic, and accelerate sludge-water separation.
