The present invention relates to a novel electronic detonator-exploder system (100) comprising of an exploder unit (102) and plurality of detonator units (104-1,104-2,…,104-n) connected to said exploder unit (102). The present invention is useful in setting and executing precise delays in explosives for mining and construction. The exploder unit (102) is provided with an integrated command and control unit (ICCU-1) for setting predefined delay in each of said detonator units (104-1, 104-2,…,104-n) and each of said detonator units (104-1,104-2,…104-n) is provided an electronic delay module (EDM) unit for counting down said set delay to initiate the process of explosion.
