METHOD FOR GENERATING VISUAL TEST REPORT

A method, relating to the technical field of software testing, for generating a visual test report. The method comprises: selecting a test action to serve as a current action, and using a corresponding test use case to serve as a current use case; comparing a number of a display screen to a number of a test screen of the current action; grabbing, in a positioned display screen, a test control matching the current action to serve as a current control, and operating the current control by means of a corresponding operation method according to an attribute thereof, and then outputting an operation resu comparing the operation result to an expected result, and saving a corresponding comparison result as a test result of the current action; acquiring an operation result of each test action in each test use case and an expected result respectively, filling in a test report, and displaying the test report in a report screen. The benefit of said technical solution is: a test may be performed automatically in a visual manner, thereby making a test process more efficient and a test report more visual.
