A system for treating desulfurization wastewater using flue gas waste heat, comprising a concentrating tower (2) and a concentrate tank (5). A spraying layer (3) is provided in the concentrating tower (2); the concentrate tank (5) communicates with both the interior of the concentrating tower (2) and the spraying layer (3); a through hole for introducing flue gas is provided on the concentrating tower (2) above the spraying layer (3); a circulating pump (7) is provided outside the concentrating tower (2); the circulating pump (7) communicates with both the interior of the concentrating tower (2) and the spraying layer (3), and the position where the circulating pump (7) communicates with the interior of the concentrating tower (2) is located below the spraying layer (3). Further disclosed is a method for treating desulfurization wastewater using flue gas waste heat.
