A leakage-free, low-loss waveguide having a fast mode at a magnetic surface of a magneto-optical thin film thereof and being unidirectionally flexible to any angle, comprising: a light input end (1); a light output end (2); a magneto-optical thin film (3); a background medium (4); two wave-absorbing layers (5, 6); and one bias magnetic field (H0). The magneto-optical thin film (3) is provided in the background medium (4). The magneto-optical thin film (3) is made of a magneto-optical material. The magneto-optical thin film (3) and the background medium (4) can be bent to any angle. The bias magnetic field (H0) is provided at the magneto-optical thin film (3), and the orientation thereof can be controlled. The magneto-optical thin film (3) has a ring-shaped bent portion. A magnetic surface fast-wave exists at a surface between the magneto-optical material and the background medium (4). The leakage-free, low-loss waveguide having a fast mode at a magnetic surface of a magneto-optical thin film thereof and being unidirectionally flexible to any angle has a simple structure, a small size, low loss and high transmission efficiency, facilitates integration, is suitable for large-scale optical integrated circuits, and can be widely applied in various optical waveguide designs.
