USE OF ARD1 AS MARKER FOR MEASURING PROGNOSIS OF OR DIAGNOSING LIVER CANCER

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) progresses in stages, and dysplastic nodules which occur in a chronic liver disease, particularly high-grade dysplastic nodules, are precancerous lesions and can be seen as an early change in the multistage process of hepatocarcinogenesis. Since a gradual increase in malignancy through the stage of such dysplastic nodules develops into highly metastatic and unfavorable-grade liver cancer, recent efforts are focused on early liver cancer diagnosis. To this end, in order to enable early and effective diagnosis and prediction of liver cancer, the present invention relates a composition for liver cancer stage diagnosis and a liver cancer diagnostic kit. Analysis of the expression level of ARD1 according to the present invention is expected to be useful for early diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer and identification of the progression stage of liver cancer.
