DOMAIN NAME RESOLUTION METHOD AND DEVICE, GATEWAY, SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM

The disclosure relates to a domain name resolution method and device, a gateway, a system, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: receiving and saving domain name resolution hotspot information distributed to a plurality of user side gateways by a network side gateway by means of multicasting or broadcasting and acquired from a domain name system (DNS) server, wherein the domain name resolution hotspot information comprises domain name resolution hotspot data and domain name information corresponding to the domain name resolution hotspot data, and the domain name resolution hotspot data is a resource content corresponding to a domain name, with the amount of domain name access greater than a pre-set threshold value, of a client in the DNS server; intercepting a domain name resolution request message sent by the client, wherein the domain name resolution request message carries domain name information to be accessed; querying whether the domain name information to be accessed exists in the domain name resolution hotspot information; and if so, returning the resource content to be accessed in the domain name resolution request message to the client. The disclosure reduces bandwidth consumption during the process of domain name resolution buffering, saves a bandwidth resource, and increases the speed of domain name resolution at the same time.
