The present invention provides: an IoT-based residential parking permit zone management system wherein, when other members or non-members use the parking space of a resident during idle time periods, the corresponding resident is rewarded with points for use in other residential parking permit zones or public parking lots so that the resident can use the rewarded points in the future, whereby it is possible to reduce the aversion that a resident has to other persons who use the parking space of the resident during idle time periods; and a parking lot usage status providing module installed in a communication terminal connected to the residential parking permit zone management system through a network.
