The present invention provides a textile printing apparatus, using digital ink jet printing, comprising: a conveyor unit for conveying a fabric; a rear-surface printing unit for printing a rear-surface image, which is to be textile-printed on the rear surface of the fabric, on the conveyor unit by means of ink jet printing; a fabric supply unit for inputting the fabric to a rear-side conveyor unit of the rear-surface printing unit; an image transferring unit positioned on the front surface of the fabric being supplied from the fabric supply unit, and transferring the rear-surface image printed on the conveyor unit to the rear surface of the fabric; and a front-surface printing unit positioned on the rear side of the image transferring unit and for printing, by means of ink jet printing, a front-surface image on the front surface of the fabric. The rear-surface printing unit and the front-surface printing unit respectively comprise: a dye spraying means; a dye conveying means for controlling the movement of the dye spraying means; and a controller enabling the dye spraying means to reach a set location on the fabric and spray a dye in correspondence with the conveyance speed and position of the fabric and the rear-surface image and front-surface image of the fabric. According to the above, the present invention enables excellent color development and expression on the rear surface as well as the front surface of the fabric, and enables printing in uniform penetration regardless of the thickness of the fabric. And the present invention enables textile printing, by means of digital textile printing, for a fabric formed by means of blending or mix-weaving two or more fiber types as well as for a fabric formed in a single fiber type. And the present invention enables uniformed maintenance of the printing quality for the textile printing.
