A positioning and guiding device for acetabulum rasping and acetabular prosthesis implantation used in total hip arthroplasty, said device comprising: a sleeve handle (1) and several sliding arms (2) slidably arranged on the sleeve handle (1). The sleeve handle (1) is provided with a hollow inner cavity (3), and a positioning component is respectively connected with each of the sliding arms (2); each positioning component can be rotatably adjusted relative to the sliding arm (2) so as to lock and fix the sliding arm. Further disclosed is a method for positioning the positioning and guiding device for acetabulum rasping and acetabular prosthesis implantation which is used in total hip arthroplasty.
