The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image recognition processing method by which, even when a target object, the privacy of which is to be protected, fails to be detected in a captured image, it is possible to generate an image which ensures no disclosure of the target object that failed to be detected. Provided is an image recognition processing method in which an image captured by at least one imaging unit is processed by at least one computer, the method including a step for generating a composite image in which a model of a target object, from which privacy information thereof is excluded, is rendered on a background image, by using positional data of the target object which includes the privacy information and which is detected from the image captured by said at least one imaging unit and using the background image read from a background image storage unit in which the background image not including the target object is stored.
