The present invention relates to a makeup cosmetic composition comprising a spherical powder and a nonvolatile oil and having improved oil absorption capacity, spreadability, and compactibility by preparing the composition with a predetermined hardness, and a method for preparing the same. As the makeup cosmetic composition of the present invention is prepared with a predetermined hardness by mixing a spherical powder having excellent sebum absorption capacity with a nonvolatile oil to form a slurry, and then compressing and removing a portion of the oil, the compactibility is improved, there is less dusting of powder, it is possible to uniformly apply the composition on the skin without a creasing phenomenon in wrinkles, makeup consistency is improved, and the blurring effect is excellent.
