Disclosed are a wire rope coring drilling rig and a new green construction method capable of replacing trench and shallow-shaft explorations, the wire rope coring drilling rig comprising: a base (1), a principal machine (2), a drilling tool (3), a drill stem (4), and a wire rope coring system (5). The principal machine (2) is installed on the base (1), the base (1) can adjust an installation angle of the principal machine (2), the drill stem (4) is installed on the principal machine (2), and the principal machine (2) is used to drive the drill stem (4) to rotate and feed. The front end of the drill stem (4) is fixedly connected to the drilling tool (3), the rear end of the drill stem (4) is connected to the wire rope coring system (5), and the axis of revolution of the drilling tool (3) is collinear with that of the drill stem (4). The principal machine (2) comprises: a box-type feeding frame (21); a power head base (22); a feeding cylinder (23), the feeding cylinder (23) being installed on the box-type feeding frame (21) for driving the power head base (22) to move freely on the box-type feeding frame (21) in the length direction of the box-type feeding frame (21); and a power head (24), the power head (24) clamping the drill stem (4) to drive the drill stem (4) to rotate. By means of the wire rope coring drilling rig, drilling of bed rocks on the ground in the horizontal direction or at a small angle can be achieved in place of trench and shallow-shaft explorations relying on large-area excavation of earth.
