METHOD FOR DETERMINING AGED LEAF OF GREENHOUSE CUCUMBER

A method for determining an aged leaf of a greenhouse cucumber, performed according to the following steps: step 1, calculating the amount of products assimilated daily by a target leaf; step 2, calculating the amount of the assimilated products consumed daily by the target leaf; step 3, determining whether the target leaf is an aged leaf: comparing the amount of the products assimilated daily with the amount consumed daily by the target leaf, which is a functioning leaf if the amount of the products assimilated daily is greater than the amount of the assimilated products consumed daily, and is an aged leaf necessitating removal if the amount of the products assimilated daily is less than or equal to the amount of the assimilated products consumed daily. The method provides a method for determining an aged leaf on the basis of the concentration of stachyose in the leaf stem, thus breaking the conventional bottleneck in which the determination of an aged leaf relies solely on experience.
