A method and device for responding to a popup menu, and a mobile terminal. The method for responding to a popup menu comprises: locking a popup menu when the popup menu is displayed on an edge of a screen (S110); detecting a touch operation inputted by a user in a target region (S120), the target region comprising the popup menu; and if the touch operation is consistent with a popup menu unlocking instruction, unlocking the popup menu and receiving the operation instruction inputted by the user from the popup menu (S130). The method not only saves system resources and time, but also improves user experience.
