Provided is a veliparib sustained controlled release pharmaceutical composition, said composition containing dissolution-improved veliparib and a matrix polymer used for regulating release rate. In the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention, the absorption rate and absorption time of veliparib in vivo can be regulated by means of regulating the in vitro drug release of veliparib, thus accurately regulating the plasma concentration level and plasma-concentration fluctuation range of veliparib in vivo, so as to highly effectively and persistently enable the inhibitory activity of veliparib on in vivo PARP enzyme; thus the pharmacotherapeutic efficacy is increased and the pharmaceutical toxic and side effects are reduced.
