STORING SPEED INFORMATION FOR PREDICTING A FUTURE SPEED TRAJECTORY

Speed information of networked vehicles is collected in a back end and speed distributions are determined from said information and characteristics are formed therefrom. The stored characteristics are used to predict future vehicle speeds. Preferably, information relating to individual driving behaviour and internal signals of the vehicle are used in addition for the prediction.
