The present invention relates to a stock (1) for a shoulder-fired weapon (A), comprising: - an articulated trapezoid- or parallelogram-shaped structure (2), comprising: •two blocks (3, 4) respectively forming a bearing interface with the body (A) of the weapon and a support for a butt plate (C); and • at least two rigid linking arms (5, 6; 5, 6.1, 6.2), each jointed, at one of its ends, by a pivot link (50, 60) with the bearing interface (3) with the body (A) of the weapon and at the other of its ends by a pivot link (51, 61) with the support (4) of the butt plate (C); - at least one locking means (64, 52; 62, 52, 7; 62, 52, 8) for locking the arms together, in at least one fixed position defining a desired height of the butt plate with respect to the bearing interface.
