A work vehicle comprises: a work device that allows soil to be excavated and dumped; a load cell that measures the weight of the soil loaded by the work device; a transport vehicle identification unit that identifies a transport vehicle on which the soil is to be loaded; a vehicle weight acquisition unit that acquires the vehicle weight information pertaining to the load capacity of the transport vehicle; a load weight calculation unit that calculates the load weight of the soil to be loaded on the transport vehicle on the basis of the weight measured by the load cell; and an output unit that outputs information pertaining to the remaining load volume of the transport vehicle found from the vehicle weight information and the load weight.
