Provided is an ultra-wideband differential antenna with a notch characteristic, comprising a dielectric substrate, a ground plate located on a lower surface of the dielectric substrate, and a feeding layer located on an upper surface of the dielectric substrate. The feeding layer comprises two radiation units arranged in a bilaterally symmetrical manner. The radiation unit comprises a micro-strip feeder and a radiation patch. The micro-strip feeder is connected to the radiation patch. The ground plate comprises four chamfers located at the edge of the ground plate and in radial symmetry, a circular gap located in the middle of the ground plate, and two C-shaped metal belts arranged in a bilaterally symmetrical manner and located in the circular gap. The C-shaped metal belt is parallel to the edge of the circular gap, and there is a space between the C-shaped metal belt and the edge of the circular gap. The ultra-wideband differential antenna with a notch characteristic of the present invention achieves the miniaturization of same, and achieves a good notch function. Moreover, the radiation characteristic of the antenna at a high frequency band is optimized and improved, and the gain of the antenna at a high frequency is also improved.
