This X-ray device (1) for hospital rounds includes: an X-ray generating unit (6) that is movable up and down in a vertical direction; a holding frame (10) which in addition to stretchably holding compression springs (22a, 22b) or an extension spring (222) that stretches with the upward and downward movement of the X-ray generating unit, holds a wire (20) for transmitting the elastic force of the compression springs or the extension spring to the X-ray generating unit, and a pulley (21) that has the wire wound therearound and rotates, whereby the holding frame (10) supports the X-ray generating unit to be movable up and down; and a column (3) which removably accommodates the holding frame so that the holding frame can be exposed above the column and which extends in the vertical direction.
