This elevator system (100) is provided with: an in-car guidance device (150) which is installed in a passenger car of an elevator; and a group management control device (110) which controls the in-car guidance device (150) and performs communication with a mobile terminal device (170) which is held by a prospective passenger of the elevator. The in-car guidance device (150) transmits, to the group management control device (110), first image data which represents an image inside the passenger car, and displays an image based on second image data of a display image in the passenger car. The group management control device (110) generates, from the first image data, third image data of a display image of the mobile terminal device (170), transmits the third image data to the mobile terminal device (170), receives transmission data that has been transmitted from the mobile terminal device (170), and generates, from the transmission data, the second image data.
