Provided are: a composition for coating a thermoplastic polymer film, the composition exhibiting excellent anti-sticking properties from the initial stretching even when a dry state and a wet state are repeated, maintaining excellent anti-sticking properties for a long time even after being stretched, and having excellent scratch resistance, and the surface of a coated film coated with the composition having extremely low stickiness; a method for producing the composition; a modified thermoplastic polymer film using the composition; and a method for producing the modified thermoplastic polymer film. The composition for coating a thermoplastic polymer film contains a specific (modified) inorganic cation colloidal sol, polyether-modified silicone, a specified polyoxyalkylene derivative, and a specific ethylene oxide-propylene oxide block polymerized polymer at a specific ratio.
