The selector contains an upper metal flange (1) with a body (6) and a lower metal flange (2) with cage-like segments (3) made of insulating material. To them are connected conductors (13) passing upwards in the insulating tube. The selector drive system is located in the body (6). It is composed of a drive shaft (31) with a double transfer element (25). On an adjacent axis (32) are mounted an even unit (26) and an odd unit (27) each of which is composed from one Geneva Cross wheels (28) and one gear wheel (29). These gears are engaged with one large even gear wheel (16) and one large odd gear wheel (19).
