Provided is a high gradient magnetic separator with a wet process, comprising an excitation system, a separation and collection system, a safety and isolation system, and an adjustment system, wherein the excitation system is provided with a background magnetic field for separation; the separation and collection system separates the magnetic material and the non-magnetic material in the ore containing magnetic minerals through magnetic separation; the safety and isolation system is used to isolate a particle size of an incoming material, isolate impurities from water, isolate contamination of an insulation coolant (230), and isolate magnetic fields for magnetic-feared parts, and the safety and isolation system is also used for safety protection of a motor (1230), a coil (2), a dielectric box module (420), and personal safety protection for operators; and the adjustment system is used for the adjustment of background magnetic field strength, speed of a swivel (4), pulsation amplitude and frequency, liquid level, rinse water, unloading water volume/angle, etc. The plurality of parts or modules of the magnetic separator implements division of labor and cooperation among the systems to realize a reliable, stable and strong magnetic separation of weak magnetic minerals.
