The monitoring means (23) has a measurement means (24) for measuring an electrical property of the coil (21) dependent on the position of the clamp body (19), and an evaluation means (25) for determining the position of the clamp body (19) on the basis of the electrical property of the coil. Since only an electrical property of the coil (21) is monitored, an additional mechanical component is not needed for the monitoring. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the inductance L of the coil (21) is proposed as an electrical property dependent on the position of the clamp body (19).
