Provided is a rebar cutting machine that suppresses the deformation of an incision in a rebar when the rebar is cut. The present invention is provided with a fixed blade, a movable blade capable of an operation for approaching the fixed blade, and a rebar cutting machine body 3A to which the fixed blade and the movable blade are provided so as to be positionally displaced along the longitudinal direction of a rebar 20 disposed between these blades. Additionally provided are: a rebar cutting space in which the fixed blade and the movable blade are disposed; a stage for receiving the rebar 20 prior to cutting, together with the fixed blade on the lower side of the movable blade; and a stage movement device 25 that is attached to the rebar cutting machine body 3A and that moves the stage in a vertical direction within the rebar cutting space. The stage movement device 25 has an urging means for urging the stage upward, and permits the stage to be lowered together with cut rebar in accompaniment with lowering of the movable blade.
