The present invention relates to walking exercise equipment for assisting the exercise of people with decreased walking ability. A plurality of roller are provided at the lower portion of the walking exercise equipment and foot plates enabling vertical reciprocating motion for stepping exercise by the rollers are provided. In addition, vertical frames are vertically formed on the upper part of the foot plates, and upper frames are formed on the upper part of the vertical frames. A user holds the upper frames, steps on the foot plates, and then reciprocatingly moves the foot plates up and down, wherein when the length of the foot plates is lengthened, another user who assists the user, whose walking ability is decreased, with the walking exercise can also use the same together.
