An energy-saving roof for a textile factory, the roof consisting of two layers of transparent glass. A middle empty layer is provided between the two layers of transparent glass, and a white colloidal liquid layer fills the middle empty layer. The middle empty layer has two ends connected to a storage container storing a white colloidal liquid, and a pump used to pump the white colloidal liquid in the storage container into the middle empty layer, respectively. During the winter, the middle empty layer is not filled with the white colloidal liquid layer, such that sunlight can directly pass through the roof to enter indoors. During the summer, the middle empty layer is filled with the white colloidal liquid to reflect light, and absorbed heat is released during the night to maintain an indoor temperature. The roof has a practical structure and saves energy.
