The present disclosure relates to a system for estimating future cost of a product, said system comprising a raw material information receive module that receives information pertaining to raw materials required for making said product, said information comprising at least the current price of each required raw material, wherein the product is associated with a product chain that comprises a tiered layout of the required raw materials, and further raw materials required for each of said required raw materials; a current cost computation module that computes current cost of said product based on the current price of each required raw material and based on processing cost of processing said required raw materials to manufacture said product; and a future cost estimation module that estimates, using a real- time compatible pricing model, forecasted pricing information of the product based on the current cost of said product.
