This behavior detection device, behavior detection method, and monitored person monitoring support system: detect the presence/absence of prescribed behaviors in a subject on the basis of an image generated by imaging from above a first target area; detect the presence/absence of behaviors in the subject on the basis of reflected waves of transmission waves obtained by sending transmission waves from above to a prescribed second target area including an area different from the first target area; and make a final determination regarding the presence/absence of the behaviors in the subject, on the basis of these detection results.
