STABILIZED HULL OF A MONOHULL MOTORBOAT WITH PLANING SKIS

The invention relates to boat building and can be used in the building and modernization of high-speed monohull marine motorboats. A stabilized hull of a monohull motorboat is configured with a width of not more than 50% of the length of the hull and has, in its bottom portion, a vertically oriented, narrow displacement section (4) which is disposed longitudinally and symmetrically about the centreline of the boat and which is commensurate with the length of the boat, said displacement section having low wave/hydrodynamic resistance and having water displacement that is greater than 50% but less than 80% of the full unladen weight of the boat. The hull further comprises two longitudinal low-displacement supports (6, 7) which are symmetrical about the centreline of the boat and are disposed in the bottom portion of the hull at the maximum width thereof. The supports are provided in their bottom portion with low-loaded, low-displacement planing skis (8, 9) having a length of 50% or more of the length of the boat and creating a lifting force during travel which counteracts the weight of the hull and reduces the draft of the narrow section (4), thereby allowing the supports to be lifted above the surface of the water, which leads to a reduction in hydrodynamic resistance and to the formation of tunnel cavities (11) during travel to dampen the energy of a wave broken by the bow and the supports. The invention provides improved seaworthiness and running stability.
