A positioning-based old people nursing management system and method. The method comprises: storing, in a server, position information of each Bluetooth receiver within an old people nursing region and information about a nursed old person corresponding to each wearable device (S10); when a nursed old person moves about within the old people nursing region, acquiring the signal strength of each Bluetooth receiver when it is connected to the wearable device worn by the nursed old person (S11); selecting, according to the signal strengths, three Bluetooth receivers which have the strongest signal when connected to the wearable device worn by the nursed old person (S12); calculating a first position of the nursed old person according to geographic position information corresponding to the three Bluetooth receivers that have the strongest signal (S13); starting positioning means of the wearable device by means of the Bluetooth receivers to determine a second position of the nursed old person (S14); determining an accurate position of the nursed old person according to the first and second positions (S15); and transmitting position information of the nursed old person to administrative staff of the old people nursing region, so as to check and monitor the accurate position of the nursed old person in real time (S16). By the method, the device position of a nursed old person can be mastered in real time, and thus the positioning accuracy is improved, so that the administrative staff can rush to a scene promptly when the old person has an emergency.
