A method for controlling the spectral properties of a quantum-correlated photon pair using quantum interference, comprising the following steps: using a multi-stage cascade structure consisting of a segment of nonlinear medium, a segment of dispersive medium, …, and a segment of nonlinear medium in sequence, or using a two-stage cascade structure consisting of a segment of nonlinear medium, a segment of dispersion-controllable medium, and a segment of nonlinear medium in sequence; the nonlinear media and the dispersive media in the multi-stage cascade structure are arranged sequentially and alternately, each segment of nonlinear medium is regarded as one stage, and the number of the stages of the multi-stage cascade structure is greater than or equal to two; an optical wave can be incident from one of the multi-stage cascade structure or the two-stage cascade structure, and exit from the other end to form an optical wave path; a pulsed laser is used for pumping the multi-stage cascade structure or the two-stage cascade structure, and a quantum-correlated photon pair is generated by a cascaded parametric process in the cascade structure; due to a quantum interference effect in the cascaded parametric process, the intensity of the quantum-correlated photon pair causes periodic constructive and destructive interference at different wavelengths; for the multi-stage cascade structure, the wavelength corresponding to the constructive and destructive interference can be tuned by changing the number of the stages of the multi-stage cascade structure, the length of the dispersive media, or substituting dispersive media having different dispersion properties; for the two-stage cascade structure, the wavelength corresponding to the constructive and destructive interference can be tuned by changing the dispersion properties and length of the dispersion-controllable medium; a filtering and collecting device is used for collecting and outputting the quantum-correlated photon pair at the wavelength corresponding to the constructive interference.
