The present invention provides a catalyst for preparing a deoxygenated compound from a fatty acid, the catalyst comprising a catalytically active metal supported on an ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) support of a three-dimensional structure. The catalyst according to the present invention is a catalyst in which the catalytically active metal is supported on the OMC support of the three-dimensional structure, wherein structure of the support has advantages that the structure not only improves selectivity and production rate due to a highly catalytic activity compared to an existing catalyst, but also greatly increases lifetime of the catalyst due to high catalyst stability by providing the catalyst for preparing the deoxygenated compound from the fatty acid that is a three-dimensional bar or tube type fatty acid. Further, a preparation method of the catalyst according to the present invention can prepare a mesoporous catalyst of a three-dimensional structure in which a catalytically active metal is supported by using a surface oxidation method of maintaining a three-dimensional mesoporous structure.
