The present invention provides an image processing terminal and software upgrade method for performing different operations according to a force input and software upgrade. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the image processing terminal comprises: a processor; and a communications unit for receiving a control signal having information on a force input according to a key selection of a user from a memory connected to the processor and a remote controller, or receiving control instruction information and updated control instruction information from a computer processing device. The memory stores program instructions for allowing the processor to execute different operations or different screens depending on the control instruction information or the updated control instruction information even if a control signal according to a force input of the same key is received from the remote controller. The force input refers to an input that selects a key with a stronger intensity or wider area than a normal input in the remote controller.
