A formaldehyde removing agent comprises: an air purifying component extracted from a natural formaldehyde removing materials including at least one of bamboo palms, golden pothos, dwarf umbrella trees, gerberas, flowering fern, and selaginellas; a formaldehyde removing component configured by stirring a volcanic ash soil powder in the weight ratio of 1.5 to 1.8:1 in a volatile organic compound (VOC) removing material extracted from spath at the temperature of 35 to 55C; and an aromatic component in which Chamaecyparis obtuse crude oil, distilled water or purified water are mixed at the weight ratio of 1:10 to 15. The formaldehyde removing agent causing sick house syndrome cement toxicity can remove harmful substances such as formaldehyde from cement walls through environmentally-friendly techniques.
