A method for modifying the surface of carbon black performs carboxylation or sulfonation of the surface of carbon black particles into specific inorganic acids, thereby having excellent dispersion stability and black chromaticity, having excellent surface treatment efficiency, having an economical advantage and being capable of modifying the surface of carbon black with a simple process.
