The present invention relates to conductive fiber using a composite of a metal nano belt and a carbon nano material and a manufacturing method thereof, which comprises the steps of: reforming a surface of a carbon nano material in order to introduce a functional group to a conductive carbon nano material; mixing isocyanate-based compound and a pyrimidine-based compound with the surface-reformed carbon nano material and then making reaction to produce a carbon nano material dispersion solution reactive to a metal ion; adding a metal salt precursor and a solvent to the carbon nano material dispersion solution and adding a reducing agent while adjusting addition speed to form a metal nano belt on the surface of the carbon nano material; and mixing a composite of the carbon nano material and a metal nano belt with a polymer to prepare conductive fiber. Accordingly, as a metal nano belt capable of coming into surface contact is synthesized, conductivity of conductive fiber is enhanced. In addition, because a metal nano belt is synthesized on the surface of a carbon nano material, the contact performance between the carbon nano material and the metal nano belt is excellent and a composite of a carbon nano material and a metal nano belt, which has excellent dispersibility meaning a state of uniformly being dispersed, is used, thereby enabling production of conductive fiber.
