The present invention relates to a 3D image HMD device, and more specifically, relates to a 3D image HMD device which sometimes displays virtual content and other times displays virtual content and real content at the same time in accordance with circumstances. According to the present invention, the 3D image HMD device to simultaneously display virtual content and real content comprises: a case; a camera unit mounted on a certain part of the case to film real content; a display unit which displays virtual content and real content; a 3D image generation unit which generates a right eye image and left eye image for virtual content; a motion sensor mounted on a certain part of the case to detect motion and gradient of the case; and a content select unit which displays only virtual content or simultaneously displays virtual content and real content on the display unit in accordance with the gradient value detected by the motion sensor. When the gradient value of the case detected by the motion sensor exceeds a preset threshold value, the content select unit divides a screen of the display unit into a virtual content area and a real content area to display the real content on the real content area.
