In a first exemplary embodiment, the control transmitting portion of the millimeter wave communication is received at the user equipment. The control transmitting portion is divided into a plurality of control transmitting subareas, and each subarea schedules a data transmission for a corresponding data transmitting subarea of millimeter wave communication. The first sub-region of the control transmitting sub-regions is then demodulated and decoded. The received analog antenna beamforming is prepared according to the demodulated and decoded first control transmission area sub-areas. The beamforming is performed for the first sub-region of the data transmission portion of the millimeter wave communication, and the first sub-region of the data transmission portion corresponds to the first control transmission portion sub-region.
