Disclosed is a membrane distillation system for monitoring the membrane contamination on a real-time basis. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the distillation system for monitoring the membrane contamination on a real-time basis includes: a raw water storage tank storing various fluids; a membrane distillation water treatment unit including an introduced water chamber which generates purified water after receiving the raw water stored in the raw water storage tank while receiving the water flowing in from the raw water storage tank, a membrane which separates the water flowing from the introduced water chamber into water vapor and condensed water, and a treatment water chamber condensing the water vapor after receiving the water vapor separated by the membrane; and a membrane wetting detection unit which is arranged to face the membrane and measures the light passing through the membrane on a real-time basis to detect the wetting of the membrane and the location thereof.
